Hello! My name is Erin Sheffer and I am a professional riding instructor specializing in hunters & hunter seat equitation. I am also a K-12 certified teacher with a Bachelor’s in Business and a Master’s in Education. By combining my two loves- horses & teaching- and blending my classroom teacher knowledge for standards-based curriculum building, sequential lesson planning, and successfully engaging students of different learning styles, I have created Mahogany Bay Farm to offer riding and horsemanship training to further develop your equine knowledge toolbox. Additionally, I have created my own Equitation Rider Standards & Virtual Equestrian Challenges. I hope to inspire, empower, and improve your riding and horsemanship skills!
