Our Equine Science Camp is an immersive, hands-on experience designed for horse enthusiasts aged 10-16 who love horses and want to learn more about their care, health, and behavior. Campers will spend their days working directly with horses while gaining a strong foundation in equine science.
Campers will learn essential horse care skills, including grooming, nutrition, stable management, and safe handling techniques. Through guided instruction and supervised practice, campers will build confidence working around horses and understand what it takes to care for them responsibly and increase their equine knowledge. This camp also introduces equine first aid, teaching campers how to recognize and care for common injuries and illnesses, perform basic health checks, and respond appropriately in emergency situations.
Lessons are age-appropriate and safety-focused.
In addition, campers will explore all aspects of horses—from anatomy and behavior to breeds, tack, and routine veterinary care. Learning takes place through interactive demonstrations, hands-on activities, and real-world applications, making equine science engaging and memorable. This camp is perfect for beginners, horse enthusiasts, and teens who have an interest in the veterinary field or horse ownership and who want a fun, educational, and unforgettable summer experience centered around horses.
